Blue Mountains Accommodation Facilities
The Corner Cottage is located at Leura, in the Blue Mountains and is a beautiful turn of the century 3 bedroom Californian styled bungalow built to capture and enhance the enjoyment of life in the Blue Mountains, from the huge north facing front verandah built to capture the early morning sun of summer and winter, to the old world charm of the enormous wood paneled living room with its open plan design, bay window and large log fireplace for those cold winter nights. The Corner Cottage is the prefect place to enjoy a stay in the Blue Mountains.
The Corner Cottage is fully furnished with comfy leather sofas in the living room along with large screen TV, VCR, DVD player and CD radio. The cottage also has a well stocked library of books and games for the family to enjoy while sitting in front of the roaring log fire.
If you enjoy cooking, make use of the well equipped country kitchen with modern appliances including microwave, there is ample room to enjoy a banquet with friends, the private, tucked away dining room seats up to eight people.
Summer in the mountains is a time for enjoying the outdoors from bushwalking, bike riding, family outings taking in the great Blue Mountains scenery, or long indulgent barbeques on the verandah of the Corner Cottage, a gas barbeque is on hand for preparing your favourite meal and a large outdoor setting that seats eight people are all part of the setting for memorable balmy summer nights with family or friends.
Two of the three cosy bedrooms have queen sized beds and the third bedroom consists of a single bed and a fully equipped roll away bed. All bedrooms are furnished with large older styles timber framed beds, all linen and electric blankets for those chilly winter Blue Mountains nights.
Don’t forget to take the time and indulge by immersing yourself in a steaming bath in the beautiful timber and slate tiled bathroom. The Corner Cottage has two bathrooms, one with bath and shower and the other with shower only.
For those wishing to stay longer at the Corner Cottage, a fully equipped laundry is available for guest use.
Never fear, the cold is kept at bay as the Corner Cottage is centrally heated.
Outside, let the kids run free in the large backyard or pick up a book and while away the afternoon on the front verandah.
